Henry's Alfajores Recipe

Ingredients

• Cornstarch
• Powdered sugar
• Vanilla or vanilla extract
• Egg yolk
• Homemade Dulce De Leche

How to Make Alfajores (Peruvian Style) L.

1. Make the Dulce de Leche
2. Whisk together the dry ingredients.
3. Beat the butter and vanilla extract/paste.
4. Add the egg yolk (optional).
5. Pour in the dry ingredient mixture and combine.
6. Wrap it in plastic wrap and chill.
7. Roll out the dough. Flour your rolling pin and surface and stamp out the cookies.
8. Bake the cookies. Until blond.
9. Fill them with the dulce de leche.
10. Roll the sides in powdered sugar.
