Yurika Takadachi

Project Designer

Yurika joined The Brooklyn Studio in the summer of 2023. Prior to joining the Brooklyn Studio, she worked as a designer in a small residential firm in Downtown Brooklyn and has had experience working on high-end residential projects in NYC. She has also interned at a Japanese architectural firm, Environment Design Institute in Tokyo. She earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from the New York Institute of Technology in 2021 with a Gold Certificate for Achievement in Architectural Design Award.

Originally from Japan, her inspiration to work in the architectural field was from the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban and his various humanitarian environmental works.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling and visiting various museums/exhibits.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

A stress-free life.

My loved ones passing away.

Natural light.

Anything unique, colorful, and that’s out there.

My cats.

Where would you like to live?

NYC for now but somewhere quiet & peaceful in nature in the future.

Being selfless.
