Shade joined The Brooklyn Studio in the fall of 2021. Previously, she worked in management for more than three years at CBE. She achieved organizational objectives by streamlining office operations for executives and external parties. Shade enjoys completing proposals, providing administrative support, and procuring interior furnishings. One of her greatest assets is her work ethic and her passion for maintaining relationships with clients, vendors, and third parties.

Shade was born in Nigeria. She moved to the US in 2016 to obtain her Master of Business Administration from the University of Dubuque. When she is not working, she enjoys going to the gym, playing basketball, and traveling.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Peace of mind.

What is your greatest fear?

Poverty and losing a loved one.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Sunglasses. I’m also fond of perfumes.

What talent would you most like to have?

To be able to skillfully draw and paint.

Brown.

Kindness.

Innovativeness.

Completing proposals and procurement.

I don’t have a favorite.

Which historical figure do you most identify with?

Nelson Mandela.

What is your most treasured possession?

My most treasured possession would be my loved ones that are no longer here. I make sure to build memories when I can either by taking photos or videos so I can fondly look at these moments.

Where would you like to live?

On an island in Vanuatu, Oceania.

What quality do you most admire in others?

Empathy. Putting yourself in someone else's shoes.

Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer and I Feel Bad About My Neck by Nora Ephron.
