Konstantin van Schendel

Architectural Intern

Konstantin started working as an architectural intern at The Brooklyn Studio in 2017 while studying at Brooklyn Tech High School. His interest in architecture began at a young age by watching his father, a registered architect, work on various projects. For three years, he shadowed his father and helped renovate multiple apartments in upstate New York.

In 2022, Konstantin became a full-time employee at The Brooklyn Studio. During his time here, he has been involved in all stages of the architectural process, including creating layouts for suites, preparing DOB sets (which included researching the ADA code), working on LPC sets, conducting field reports, as well as building digital and physical models and renderings. He is currently in the process of transferring to a CUNY college to receive his Bachelor of Architecture degree.
