Henry Aguilar

Project Manager

Henry Aguilar is a project manager with a focus contact administration blending architecture, construction, and fabrication. Since joining the firm in 2021, Henry has drawn upon his rich background in both millwork and project management, bringing a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to every project. Before this, he co-owned a millwork company with his brother, specializing in residential restoration projects. This work was deeply influenced by his family's tradition of El Salvadorian carpentry, a craft passed down through generations. Henry’s ability to collaborate closely with construction teams, many of whom share his cultural background, allows him to bridge communication and technical skills seamlessly on-site.

Henry has a passion for creating innovative architectural details that emphasize buildability and material science. His background in both traditional and modern fabrication methods equips him with a unique ability to blend the old with the new in his design approach.

In addition to his professional work, Henry has experience in education, having co-taught at CCNY and NYCCT, where he also served as a workshop coordinator. He takes pride in sharing his knowledge and inspiring young architects, especially in understanding the critical role craftsmanship and construction play in architectural design.

Raised in the suburbs of Long Island, New York, Henry grew up with his four siblings in a tight-knit family. His personal interests include long scenic walks and sketching, often focusing on perspective scenes that reflect his architectural sensibilities. He remains committed to lifelong learning, design innovation, and fostering collaboration across all stages of the design process.
