Haley Johnston

Haley leads the firm’s operations efforts, working to build cohesion among the various systems and processes in the office. Before joining The Brooklyn Studio in the spring of 2022, she worked at MVVA and DLANDstudio, where she gained experience in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, financial and staffing projections, construction administration, and drafting. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Political Economy from NYU's Stern School of Business.

Haley grew up in Oak Park, Illinois surrounded by Frank Lloyd Wright houses, which sparked her love of the built environment. She lived in Brooklyn for nine years prior to relocating back to Chicago in 2018, where she now resides with her husband, two young children, and a French Bulldog.
