Anais joined The Brooklyn Studio during the summer of 2025 and holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Northeastern University. In 2020 she spent a year studying remotely in London and later participated in a study abroad program in Segovia Spain, where she developed a love of historic architecture.

Before joining The Brookyln Studio, Anais completed two internships in New York City where she worked on a variety of public school and NYCHA projects, corporate office renovations and multiple DC based design proposals.

Anais is the oldest of four siblings and grew up in Mount Vernon, NY. Outside of the office she enjoys drawing, trying new sports, currently figure skating and running, and constantly reorganizing her living space.

Taking inspiration from a popular nineteenth-century parlor game, we sat down with each member of our team and asked them a few questions about their inspirations and aspirations.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?

Exploring new hobbies and spending time with loved ones.

What is your greatest fear?

Spiders.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Figure skating lessons.

What talent would you most like to have?

To easily learn new languages or be a gifted musician.

What is your favorite color?

It varies but currently lime green.

What is your favorite virtue?

Kindness.

Which living architect or designer do you most admire?

Renzo Piano.

Which dead architect or designer do you most admire?

Antoni Gaudi.

What is the trait that you most appreciate in a building?

Natural light and a well thought out layout.

What is your favorite type of project to work on?

Anything with unique features or details.

I don’t think I have one yet.

Who is your hero of fiction?

Sherlock Holmes.

Who is your favorite artist?

Hayao Miyazaki.

What is your most treasured possession?

My box of keepsakes.

What quality do you most admire in others?

Resilience and empathy.

A huge sketchbook and a Studio Ghibli art book.
