Sam Loomans

Marketing Coordinator

Sam joined The Brooklyn Studio in 2021 following a research fellowship at the Jean-Nickolaus Tretter Collection in Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Studies. Their archival work is informed by elementary and secondary teaching positions at the New York Historical Society and the Minnesota Historical Society. Sam’s academic work asks questions bridging archival studies, memory studies, critical pedagogies, and place in research.
